The Project

This award-winning home earned Peter Dyer Builders the Master Builders Association’s Supreme New Build Award for homes valued over $2 million. One of our largest projects to date, the residence spans 500 sq.m. and features four bedrooms—each with its own ensuite.

The Process

Constructing a home of this scale on a foundation of sandstone boulders was no small feat. We began by creating a stable base to support the structure, then designed a home that is both rugged and elegant.

Positioned at the end of a 1.5 km driveway, the property boasts four-metre-high block walls and steel beams to accommodate multiple rooflines. Large, negatively detailed soffits help keep the interior cool during summer.

Inside, luxury is evident throughout:

  • Solid oak doors and floors
  • A designer kitchen with butler’s pantry
  • A grand wood-burning fireplace
  • Each bedroom includes its own ensuite, complemented by a stylish powder room. The home is finished with a three-car garage and a striking colour steel roof.

The Outcome

The owners are thrilled with their new home, especially the enormous lounge offering 360° countryside views. For our team, completing this project was a proud achievement—and winning the Master Builders Association Supreme New Build Award was the ultimate recognition.
